Description
A simple and healthy recipe for preparing Brussels sprouts in an air fryer for a crispy, flavorful side dish.
Ingredients

							Scale

 - 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Optional: Balsamic glaze or maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Trim the tough ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove any loose or yellowed outer leaves. For larger sprouts, cut them in half through the stem. Smaller sprouts can be left whole.
- In a large bowl, toss the prepared Brussels sprouts with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using) until they are evenly coated.
- If your air fryer model requires preheating, set it to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even crisping.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously every 5-7 minutes, until the sprouts are tender on the inside and beautifully crispy and slightly charred on the outside.
- Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a serving dish. If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze or a touch of maple syrup before serving immediately.
Notes
- For best results, ensure Brussels sprouts are in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired crispiness.
