Description

Quick and easy air fryer burgers for juicy perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or provolone), optional
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (for topping)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare Patties: Divide ground beef into four equal portions and form into ¾-inch thick patties, slightly wider than your buns. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent bulging. Season with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Cook Burgers: Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until desired doneness is reached. (For medium-rare, aim for 8-9 minutes; medium, 10-11 minutes; well-done, 12 minutes).
  4. Add Cheese (Optional): If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Toast Buns (Optional): Lightly toast buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes after removing burgers, or on a separate pan.
  6. Assemble: Serve burgers immediately on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For medium-rare burgers, cook for 8-9 minutes. For medium, cook for 10-11 minutes. For well-done, cook for 12 minutes.
