Description

Make homemade donuts quickly and easily with your air fryer. This recipe offers a healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried donuts, perfect for a convenient and lighter dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Use a small round cookie cutter or a bottle cap to cut a hole from the center of each biscuit to create donut shapes.
  2. Lightly spray your air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Place 2-3 donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 4-6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. While the donuts are cooking, melt the butter in a small bowl. In another shallow bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Once the donuts are done, brush each warm donut with melted butter, then dredge in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For donut holes, cook the removed centers alongside the donuts, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
