Description
Make crispy and easy potato wedges in your air fryer for a simple side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet or Yukon gold potatoes, scrubbed clean
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 3-4 wedges. Aim for wedges of similar size for even cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well until all wedges are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes, if your model requires preheating.
- Place the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary to ensure crispiness.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping or shaking the basket halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and wedge thickness.
- Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For best results, ensure potato wedges are in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired crispiness.
