Description

A simple and flavorful marinade for perfectly cooked salmon in your air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all sides are coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes. If desired, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Cook for 10-14 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C). Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your salmon and your air fryer model.
  7. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

  • For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
