Description
A simple and flavorful marinade for perfectly cooked salmon in your air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all sides are coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes. If desired, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 10-14 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C). Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your salmon and your air fryer model.
- Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
- For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
