Description

Prepare quick and healthy salmon in your air fryer with lemon and herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill (or parsley)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a crispier exterior.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the herb and lemon mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there is some space between them for even cooking.
  6. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets and your desired doneness. Salmon is cooked when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately, garnished with fresh lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • For crispier salmon, ensure the fillets are dry before seasoning.
