Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter or coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in diced apple.
