Ingredients

- 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound pasta
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, place feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, and minced garlic.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tomatoes have burst and feta is softened.
- While the feta is baking, cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Add cooked pasta to the baking dish with the feta and tomatoes. Stir well, adding pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- Use other herbs like thyme or rosemary for a different flavor.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for extra nutrients.
