Description

Easy-to-make BBQ chicken meatballs, perfect as an appetizer or main course.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs (about 20-24).
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Drain any excess grease.
  5. Pour BBQ sauce over meatballs, tossing gently to coat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing sauce to thicken.
  6. Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
