 - 2 pounds ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup grape jelly
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, grape jelly, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For slow cooker preparation, place meatballs in a slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
- These meatballs can be made ahead and reheated.
- Serve with toothpicks for easy appetizer serving.
