Description

This pasta salad tastes like a Big Mac. It combines ground beef, pasta, cheese, and a special sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  • Lettuce for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned. Drain fat.
  2. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
  4. Add cooked ground beef, macaroni, cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, and chopped onion to the bowl with the sauce. Mix well to combine.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with shredded lettuce before serving.
