Ingredients

- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- While potatoes cook, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until golden brown and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and return to pot.
- Mash potatoes.
- Stir in browned butter and milk until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
