Description
This recipe makes a quick and simple buffalo chicken dip using canned chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and cheddar cheese. It is suitable for parties or snacks.

- 2 (12.5 ounce) cans canned chicken, drained and shredded
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish, optional)
- Crackers, celery sticks, or tortilla chips (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the drained and shredded canned chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×9 inch baking dish or a comparable oven-safe dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
- Serve hot with crackers, celery sticks, or tortilla chips.
Notes
- Adjust buffalo wing sauce to your taste for more or less spice.
- Use a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese for a different flavor.
