- 1 large ciabatta loaf or crusty baguette
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 4–6 slices thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the ciabatta loaf or baguette horizontally. Drizzle the cut sides with olive oil if desired.
- Spread the burrata cheese over the bottom half of the bread.
- Arrange the prosciutto slices over the burrata.
- Layer with tomato slices and arugula.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add basil leaves if using.
- Place the top half of the bread on the fillings. Press gently.
- Slice the sandwich and serve immediately.
