 - 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 - 1/4 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
 - Crumble Topping:
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup rolled oats
 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat.
 - Pour apple mixture into a 9-inch baking dish. Drizzle with 1/4 cup caramel sauce.
 - Prepare Crumble Topping: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
 - Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
 - Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture.
 - Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
 - Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
 
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of apple cider vinegar to the apple mixture.
 - Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
