Ingredients

  • 1 large orange, peeled and segmented (remove seeds)
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water or orange juice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine carrots, orange segments, ginger (if using), water or orange juice, and ice cubes in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more liquid if too thick.
  3. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend briefly.
