Ingredients

- 2 large carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 large orange, peeled and segmented (remove seeds)
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
- 1/2 cup water or orange juice
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Combine carrots, orange segments, ginger (if using), water or orange juice, and ice cubes in a blender.
- Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more liquid if too thick.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend briefly.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
