Ingredients

- 8 large dill pickles
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut each pickle in half.
- Wrap each pickle piece with a slice of cheese.
- Place flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
- Dip each cheese-wrapped pickle in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the pickles until the cheese is melted and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm.
