 - 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the buttered bread.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- For crispier bread, you can toast the bread halves lightly before adding the butter mixture.
- Feel free to add other herbs like chives or oregano to the butter.
