Ingredients
- Potatoes, thinly sliced
- Cooked ham, diced
- Velveeta cheese, cubed
- Milk
- Butter
- Flour

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in Velveeta cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add salt, pepper, and chopped onion to the cheese sauce.
- In a greased baking dish, layer sliced potatoes and diced ham.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes and ham.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk.
