- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pita bread, for serving
- Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, tahini sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, yogurt, garlic, paprika, cumin, turmeric, coriander, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken strips to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill.
- Spread the marinated chicken in a single layer on a baking sheet or grill.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or grill until chicken is cooked through and slightly browned.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into smaller pieces if desired.
- Warm pita bread and fill with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tahini sauce.
