Description
This recipe makes a healthy and easy Italian focaccia bread. It is suitable for all.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Gently punch down the dough and transfer it to a 9×13 inch baking pan greased with olive oil.
- Press the dough evenly into the pan, creating dimples with your fingertips.
- Drizzle with more olive oil, sprinkle with chopped rosemary and flaky sea salt.
- Let rise for another 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a crispier crust, bake directly on a preheated baking stone.
- You can add other toppings like cherry tomatoes or olives before baking.
