Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups self-rising flour
  • Everything bagel seasoning, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the self-rising flour to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope, then form into a flagel shape (flattened bagel).
  6. Place the flagels on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
