- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine apples, cranberries, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat.
- Pour the fruit mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, and baking powder.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the fruit mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
