Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pound pasta, cooked

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-5 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in parsley and cooked pasta. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss to combine.
  6. Serve immediately.
