- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound pasta
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp sauce. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce while cooking.
