Description
Easy, bite-sized appetizers made with crescent rolls and a creamy spinach dip filling. Perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8-ounce) can Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the squeezed dry spinach, softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined. Stir in mozzarella cheese and red pepper flakes if using.
- Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto the prepared baking sheet. If using regular crescent rolls, press the seams together to form a single sheet.
- Spread the spinach dip mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Cut the dough into approximately 18-24 squares or rectangles.
- Fold each piece into a bite-sized packet, pinching the edges to seal.
- Arrange the bites on the baking sheet, not touching.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For pinwheels, roll the dough sheet into a log and slice into 1-inch rounds before baking.
