Ingredients

- 8 oz block of mozzarella cheese (or any melty cheese of choice)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the cheese into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each cheese cube in flour, dip in egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the bites in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately while the cheese is ooey-gooey!
