Ingredients

- 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Place the uncooked pasta in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add the chicken pieces over the pasta.
- Pour the marinara sauce and condensed cream of chicken soup over the chicken and pasta.
- Distribute the cream cheese cubes evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and the pasta is tender.
- Stir everything together before serving.
- If desired, top with shredded cheese during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked chicken if you’re short on time.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- This recipe is easily adaptable with different vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
