Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh berries or sliced fruit
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk together Greek yogurt, egg yolk, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Lay bread slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket. Create a slight well in the center of each slice.
  3. Spoon the yogurt mixture evenly into the wells of the toast.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes (oven) or air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 7-10 minutes (air fryer), until topping is set and golden.
  5. Remove from oven or air fryer, top with fresh fruit, and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
