Instructions
- Pat the skirt steak dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the skirt steak.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
- Remove steak from skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
- Warm the corn tortillas according to package instructions.
- Assemble tacos with steak, chopped onion, cilantro, salsa, and sour cream.
