Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (8 ounce) package herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, sage, thyme, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Layer the stuffing mix, celery, and onion over the chicken and soup mixture.
  4. Pour the chicken broth evenly over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is moist.
  6. Stir gently before serving.
