- 1 box (13×9 size) brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder, for dusting
- 6–8 ladyfingers, broken into pieces (or similar cookies)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.
- Once baked, let the brownies cool completely.
- While the brownies are cooling, mix the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using) in a shallow dish.
- In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Dip the ladyfinger pieces in the coffee mixture briefly, then arrange them on top of the mascarpone layer.
- Dust generously with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes
- For a richer coffee flavor, use espresso instead of regular brewed coffee.
