Description

A quick and easy dump cake recipe featuring crushed Oreo cookies, chocolate cake mix, and a sweet milk mixture, baked until bubbly and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) dry chocolate cake mix
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, roughly crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Optional: Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread about half of the crushed Oreo cookies evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the Oreo layer.
  4. Layer the remaining crushed Oreos over the cake mix.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup of whole milk until well combined. Pour this mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of everything.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the cake is set and the edges are bubbly. A toothpick inserted into the cake part (avoiding the melted Oreos) should come out mostly clean.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
