Description

This recipe makes a spicy chicken ramen. It is a comforting and balanced meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces ramen noodles
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  2. Drain excess fat from the pot.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, water, soy sauce, gochujang, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to package directions, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Divide ramen into two bowls. Top each with two soft-boiled egg halves, sliced green onions, and nori strips.
