Description

This recipe provides a simple method for preparing delicious garlic butter lobster tails. It focuses on ease of preparation and rich flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (4-5 ounce) lobster tails, thawed if frozen
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping at the tail fin. Carefully pull the meat up through the opening, resting it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
  5. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Brush the remaining garlic butter over the cooked lobster tails before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure lobster tails are fully thawed for even cooking.
  • Do not overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
  • Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
