Garlic Meatballs With Melted Mozzarella

Description

These garlic meatballs are topped with melted mozzarella cheese. They are easy to make and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve hot.

  • You can use ground turkey or pork instead of beef.
