- 12 ounces chickpea pasta
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook chickpea pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, steam or boil broccoli florets until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the cooked broccoli to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic oil.
- Add the cooked and drained chickpea pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes.
- For extra protein, add grilled chicken or shrimp.
