 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into tender strips
- 1 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken tender strip into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Dredge the egg-coated chicken strips in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
- Drizzle or spray the tops of the tenders with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the tenders by dipping them in egg and breadcrumbs again.
- Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve with honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch for dipping.
