Description

This recipe combines shrimp, sausage, and broccoli with a honey garlic sauce for a quick and easy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz cooked sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 10-12 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
  4. While broccoli roasts, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. In another large bowl, toss shrimp and sliced sausage with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  6. Add the roasted broccoli to the bowl with shrimp and sausage. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the mixture and toss to coat everything evenly.
  7. Return the mixture to the baking sheet and roast for another 8-10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use any type of cooked sausage you prefer.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
