Description

A simple and flavorful chicken dish with a spicy-sweet hot honey sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in hot honey, butter, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce has thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.

Notes
