- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: cooked bacon, sour cream, chives
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add cream cheese, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese.
- Spoon the mashed potato mixture into a piping bag or use a spoon to create small mounds on a baking sheet.
- Top with bacon, sour cream, or chives, if desired.
- Serve warm.
