Description
Quick, easy, and crispy low-carb chicken tenders made in the air fryer, perfect for a healthy ketogenic diet meal or snack.
Ingredients

							Scale

 - 1 lb chicken breast, cut into tender strips
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, beat the egg.
- Dip each chicken tender strip first into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dredge it in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
- Drizzle or spray the tenders lightly with olive oil or avocado oil for extra crispiness.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tenders are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispy tenders, you can double-coat them by dipping them back into the egg and then the almond flour mixture again.
- Ensure the chicken tenders are not overcrowded in the air fryer basket to allow for even cooking and crisping.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your chicken tenders and your specific air fryer model.
