- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 package (6 oz) stove top stuffing mix for chicken
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, prepared stove top stuffing mix (follow package directions for liquid and seasoning), milk, eggs, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
- Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard to the meatloaf mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or a mixture of ground beef and pork for the ground beef.
- If you prefer a moister meatloaf, you can add an extra 1/4 cup of milk.
