  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Stir in 3 cups of cheddar cheese, milk, sour cream, buffalo wing sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Add shredded chicken and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
