- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, toss shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Add orzo pasta and minced garlic to the skillet.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir to combine.
- Bring to a simmer on the stovetop.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until orzo is cooked and shrimp is pink and opaque.
- Remove from oven and stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.

- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- You can substitute vegetable broth for chicken broth.
