- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (for topping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until they are just combined. Do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- If desired, spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of ground chicken.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
