Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients until they are just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. If desired, spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey instead of ground chicken.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
