Description
Crispy, cheesy chicken tenders made easily in your air fryer for a quick and delicious weeknight meal or appetizer.
Ingredients

							Scale

 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs.
- In another shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
- Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Dip the floured tender into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off.
- Finally, coat the tender thoroughly with the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the coated tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the tenders: dip in egg, then panko-Parmesan, then egg again, and finally panko-Parmesan.
- Ensure the tenders are in a single layer for even cooking and maximum crispiness.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your tenders and your specific air fryer model.
