 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 cups chocolate chips
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract and pumpkin puree until well combined.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
 - Stir in the chocolate chips.
 - Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
 - Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
