- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

- 1 cup melted butter
- Optional: 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry spice cake mix over the pumpkin mixture.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
