Description
A comforting and creative twist on classic carbonara, using ramen noodles for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package ramen noodles
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, but do not add the seasoning packet. Drain and set aside.
- Cook bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving bacon fat in the pan.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan with the garlic and bacon fat. Toss to coat.
- Remove the pan from heat. Quickly pour the egg mixture over the noodles, tossing constantly to prevent the eggs from scrambling. The heat from the noodles will cook the eggs.
- Stir in the cooked bacon.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to add other ingredients like mushrooms or peas.
- Adjust the amount of Parmesan cheese to your preference.
